The Faculty of Applied Science Dean’s Medal of Distinction serves to recognize individuals who have brought high honour to the faculty through their contributions to the advancement of its vision, mission and mandate.
The 2024 Dean's Medal of Distinction nomination period is now closed
Nominations are opened in April annually. Recipients will be announced this summer, and we look forward to recognizing these individuals at the annual Applied Science Celebration in November.

Medal Recipients
The medal was created to mark the celebration of the University of British Columbia and Applied Science’s 100th anniversary in 2015 with 100 inaugural awardees in 2016.
