The UBC Applied Science Co-op Program offer employers the ability to integrate future technical talent from 14 disciplines into the work place through short-term hires. Co-op students are cost-effective, available for 4, 8, 12, or 16 months, and are an excellent way to develop an organization’s talent pipeline.

Student internships
The School of Community Regional Planning (SCARP) internship program is designed to connect students with experienced professional planners in their field of interest allowing them to gain valuable hands-on experience and apply academic knowledge. Student are typically available each summer for paid or volunteer work ranging in duration from two weeks to 4 months.

Master of Engineering Leadership (MEL) and Master of Health Leadership (MHLP) graduates
Graduates of the Master of Engineering Leadership (MEL) and Master of Health Leadership (MHLP) program hold 5-7 years of experience and are ready to make meaningful, strategic contributions to an organization. The MEL and MHLP programs are a unique, one-year professional degrees that strengthen practicing professionals’ sector-specific technical skills while advancing their business and leadership expertise.
