Thrusting off into their first year of graduating and applying theory to practice from UBC MHLP Clinical Education, three healthcare leaders gathered to reflect, digest, and share key learnings. With a background in nursing, Fairouz, Ellison, and Lisa recognized the importance of collaboration in teaching and learning.
Through the UBC Alumni Activity Fund, we got an opportunity to have a seasonal reset and discuss our challenges and expectations in the next few years ahead. With our different lived experiences, each of had fun sharing how MHLP contributed to our growth and career advancements.
Moreover, it was a fantastic time to catch up with one another, and it felt like we never really graduated. I had such a fantastic time chatting with old friends, and I can't wait to hear how everyone is doing in our next meeting together!
