Despite graduating from different cohorts in UBC School of Nursing, our love of ECGs, inotropes, and chest tubes brought us back together at VGH. It has been over 10 years since we parted ways! Some of us have pursued more schooling, while others have started families or traveled the world.
Although opportunities to meet up dwindled over the years, it did not take long for us to rekindle our friendship. We caught up with each other’s whereabouts over a delectable 4-course Italian meal, and reminisced about our time in the nursing program. There is something to be said about chatting with old friends and the comfort of knowing you belong and are loved. We cannot wait for out next gathering!
