After comparing schedules, swapping shifts and a little bit of planning, five alumni from the UBC BSN program gathered at Locarno Beach to celebrate a year of working as full time nurses, passing board exams, specialization training, and recently taking on our own orientees.
Honestly, a lot has happened since graduating in 2023, so it was only fitting to celebrate a number of life milestones as well as new job opportunities over a picnic spread of delicious fruits, rotisserie chicken, salad, and mello donuts.
Before we knew it, we were taking in a gorgeous sunset, the kind that only Vancouver can offer. We're looking forward to the next time stars align and our schedules sync up to spend time together again.
