On March 23, four UBC engineering alumni gathered at the Richmond Oval for a day of rock climbing, thanks to the generous support of UBC’s alumni fund. Our friendship began back in our student days at UBC, where we first connected through climbing, so it was especially meaningful to reunite and climb together once again.
The day was filled with excitement as we tackled both lead and top-rope climbing walls, pushing ourselves and cheering each other on. Between climbs, we caught up on life—sharing stories of recent travels, outdoor adventures, and reminiscing about our time at UBC. We hope this will be the first of many more get-togethers this year!
We left feeling grateful for the opportunity to reconnect, challenge ourselves, and continue our shared passion for climbing. A big thank you to UBC’s Alumni Activity Fund for making this special day possible!
