On August 17th, a group of engineering alumni and students got together to enjoy a relaxing lazy river float down the Penticton Channel. Surrounded by the beauty of the Okanagan Valley, it was a perfect opportunity to unwind and catch up with old classmates.
We shared stories about what we’ve been up to and reminisced about our university days. Having set our feet out into the real world, getting together and spending time to remember our school spirit was amazing.
The three-hour trip felt like a breeze, and by the end of it, new connections were formed and old ones strengthened. Thank you, UBC, for helping us reconnect. We hope to make this a yearly tradition and gather even more alumni in future years!
