Rehan Sadiq, PhD, is a civil engineering professor and the executive associate dean of UBC's School of Engineering in Okanagan. Since 2002, Professor Sadiq has been involved in research related to drinking water quality modelling, environmental risk assessment and decision-making, and asset management of civil infrastructure systems. Prior to joining UBC in January 2009, he worked in the Urban Infrastructure Program of NRC Canada for 7 years. He has successfully generated $5M in national and international funding from the Water Research Foundation, UKWIR, and numerous Canadian agencies including NSERC, Health Canada, BC Oil & Gas Commission, BC Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure Canada (INFC), the Canadian Water Network, and numerous municipalities in Canada. He is an author of more than 250 publications in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, books, and national/international conferences. Citations for his research work approach approximately 2000 in Google Scholar and other scientific databases.
