Donald Choi

Donald Choi, a graduate of UBC and Registered Architect, is the Deputy Chairman and Managing Director of the Urban Renewal Authority, Hong Kong. Previously, he served as CEO of Chinachem Group. With over 40 years of experience in architecture and urban development, Donald advocated for people-centric design, believing that thoughtful architecture can greatly enhance the quality of life for communities. Throughout his illustrious career, he has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Executive of the Year Award 2021 by DHL-SCMP and the CEO of the Year Award 2022 presented by Real Estate Asia. In addition to his professional roles, he actively participates in various NGOs and professional organizations, focusing on design, community well-being and sustainable development, such as the Architects Registration Board and the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.
