A group of CHBE alumni recently gathered at a local brewery in Calgary for a fun evening of some local brews and snacks! It was a special occasion because most of us graduated in 2020 or 2021, when our classes were cut short and graduation ceremonies were unfortunately canceled due to the pandemic. As a result, many of us hadn’t seen each other since then, making this get-together extra special and a delayed opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments together.
During the event, we had the chance to catch up on what we’ve been doing since graduating. We shared stories about our new careers, newfound hobbies, and even had the opportunity to introduce each other to new friends/family we’ve made in the city. It was heartwarming to see how some of our fellow alumni had relocated to Calgary from BC, growing our small alumni family here in Calgary! We are excited to continue fostering these new and old connections, and we look forward to future alumni events to come.
