To celebrate a fellow alum's recent move to the city, a group of Toronto-based APSC graduates came together to organize a memorable evening centered around an exquisite “omakase” dinner. The menu was a feast for the senses, featuring torch-seared sashimi from Yuzuki Fish Market, delectable Korean bossam, beautifully crafted canapés, two vibrant and flavorful pasta salads, a handcrafted pastry tart with berry compote and cream cheese, as well as stunning mini cakes from Daan Go Cake Lab. The ambiance was carefully curated, with lo-fi beats setting the mood and colorful lights casting a warm glow, while the nighttime views of downtown Toronto provided a breathtaking backdrop.
As the evening unfolded, laughter and stories from our pandemic-era graduation flowed as freely as the conversations. It was a joyous reminder of the bonds we forged during those unique times and the enduring connections we continue to nurture. The evening was a perfect blend of gourmet indulgence and warm camaraderie, reaffirming that while we may have graduated four years ago, our shared experiences and friendships remain as fresh and vibrant as ever.
