On a rainy Vancouver evening, a group of us alumni got together to check out Activate, an indoor gaming facility filled with high-energy, interactive games that keep you on your feet the entire time. As soon as we stepped into our first game, we knew we were in for a challenge—but in the best way possible. Each room had its own game, and most of them were all about speed, coordination, and reflexes. The games had us jumping, crawling, sprinting, and reaching in every direction, and by the end of each round, we were catching our breath and laughing at how competitive we were getting. It was clear that meeting up for something active was a great way to reconnect.
After we wrapped up our session at Activate, we decided to keep things going with a sushi dinner nearby. Sitting around the table, sharing rolls and sashimi, we had a chance to relax and catch up. The vibe was easy and laid-back — just swapping stories, laughing about the games we’d just played, and planning the next get-together.
Activate was a great choice for something a little different that got everyone moving, and sushi afterward was exactly what we needed to wind down. We made new memories together— this time outside of the classroom, and in one of Vancouver’s most exciting indoor adventure spaces. Rain or shine, days like these make it easy to pick up right where we left off.
