Ian McDougall

Ian McDougall has worked in the Medical Device Industry for over 18 years and has been involved in several medical device company start-ups.is. Currently, Ian is Chief Operations Officer at Aegis Medical Innovations and also Chief Technology Officer at Evasc Medical Systems. Ian is also current Chair of the Medical Device Development Centre a not-for-profit centre providing low-cost development lab and office space and other support to the medical device industry. Ian also has been a contributing member of the Mechanical Engineering Advisory Council since 2012, and in 2015 joined the UBC Alumni Advisory Council. In 2006 Ian was named BC’s top 40 business leaders under the age of 40 (top 40 under 40). Ian is a UBC alumni and has a Mechanical Engineering degree.
