UBC Applied Science instructor receives engineering education award

Jonathan Verrett, a chemical and biological engineering instructor at UBC, has been awarded the Ron Britton Engineering Education Vanguard Award for his commitment to innovation, change and improvement in engineering education.

The annual award, bestowed by the Canadian Engineering Education Association, recognizes early-career faculty members who are “making significant differences in engineering education practices through innovation in the engineering classroom and/or through research.”
