    Through the latest BC Knowledge Development Fund (BCKDF) funding, the Government of BC is providing approximately $52.3 million to support infrastructure for 25 research projects at five post-secondary institutions, including UBC projects led by Dr. Yusuf Altintas, Dr. Ben Britton and Dr. Will Hughes.

    PhD CoLab pilot program announces awardees

    Five teams of collaborating PhD students and faculty members at UBC have received funding from the Faculty of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS) new PhD CoLab pilot program. Awards range from $30,000 to $100,000 and total nearly $340,000 during this pilot year.

    Kelowna student honoured nationally by BGC Canada

    Mehak Parihar, a first-year engineering student at UBC Okanagan, is one of seven youths across Canada who have been awarded the honour for her exceptional leadership, dedication to service and remarkable achievements within her community.

UBC is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm people (Musqueam; which means 'People of the River Grass') and Syilx Okanagan Nation.
