Make the most of your last summer together

Whether you're staying local or heading in different directions, this summer is your chance to create unforgettable moments with your fellow Applied Science friends. Host your own get-together, and we'll make it happen with up to $100 in funding.

Need ideas? How about:

  • Share a meal at your favourite local spot
  • Enjoy a picnic at the beach
  • Grab ice cream together
  • Paint your own pottery
  • Attend a sporting event

The process and timeline:

June 19, 2025 - Applications Open

Submit an application of your activity proposal, which must include a detailed description of the proposed activity, anticipated alumni group size, and location. Applications will be reviewed and approved on a running basis.

June 27, 2025 – Deadline to submit the application of your activity proposal

Week of July 2, 2025 – Application approval emails will be sent out

June 27 to August 5, 2025 - Execute your activity

Plan your event or activity, contact your fellow Applied Science alumni, and get together to execute your activity.

August 5, 2025 – Deadline to complete your activity AND submit your reimbursement form

All activities or events must be completed and your reimbursement form must be submitted by this deadline.


Eligibility:

Applications are open to May 2025 Applied Science graduates only. All attendees must be UBC Applied Science alumni.
