Jennifer Vancini
Jennifer Vancini is a General Partner of Mighty Capital, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley. A dedicated member of the Applied Science Dean’s Advisory Council since 2016, Jennifer was recently appointed Vice-Chair. Her extensive experience in business development across a range of technologies has granted Jennifer invaluable insight into the transformation needed for the future of the Faculty of Applied Science.
Prior to Mighty Capital, Jennifer built Pointgrey Partners, a family investment office focused on tech startups. She has also held executive roles in corporate and strategic business development, especially in the high-growth security and mobile sectors with companies such as Price Waterhouse, Telefonica, Symbian/Nokia, and Certicom, which she helped take public in Canada.
In addition to serving on the Dean’s Advisory Council, Jennifer supports the Sauder School of Business through a Founder’s Pledge, where she completed her MBA in 1993. Jennifer serves on several private boards, and she and her husband, Ray Kruck, are raising two dual-citizen teenagers in California.
