Denis Connor

Dr. Connor is the former Chairman and Founding CEO of QuestAir, and was CEO of Angstrom Power. He is currently on the boards of Inventys, a flue gas CO2 capture company, and Carbon Engineering, a CO2 direct air capture company. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence at the Foresight Cleantech Accelerator and a Director of the nascent Institute for Breakthrough Energy Technoloigies.
After graduation from UBC, Dr. Connor worked at Bell Labs , and Bell Northern Research on digital video signal processing. In 1976 he joined MDA and was successively VP Engineering and Exec VP Business Development. He led the Science Council of BC from 1988 to 1990. From 2009 to 2014 he was Global Practice Lead for Cleantech with the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service.
He was a founding director of Hydrogen and Fuel Cells Canada. He raised the seed round for General Fusion and was the founding Chairman and subsequently a director.
Denis and his wife, Della, have two children and five grandchildren.
