
Colin Smith
Colin Smith’s career includes corporate management, entrepreneurship and consulting in the resource and infrastructure sectors and over 15 years of public sector service.
Throughout his lifetime, Colin has engaged himself in the leadership of numerous local, provincial and national professional and community organizations. He is a Past President of Engineers Canada and APEGBC. In addition to currently serving as Vice Chair of Victoria’s Waste Water Treatment Commission, he is a Director of the Victoria Airport Authority, a Trustee of the BC Government House Foundation, President of the Canadian Society of Senior Engineers, PNWER’s Canadian Private Sector Lead and Finance Committee Chair, a Director of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a UVIC Engineering Associate, Chief Warden of Iron Ring Camp 23, and an active Rotarian.
His service has been recognized with several awards, Fellowships and Canada’s 125th Anniversary and the Queen’s Diamond and Golden Jubilee Medals.
