Catherine Ebbehoj

Cathy Ebbehoj, a proud UBC alum (BSN’75, MSN’99, PNC(C)), spent the first years of her professional career in maternal-child nursing in clinical practice before joining UBC in 1991 as a clinical instructor and educator. As part of the teaching intensive faculty in the School of Nursing for the last 25 years, Cathy has had the privilege to teach and mentor many generations of UBC nursing grads in the wonders of maternity nursing. Throughout her entire career she has been a committed champion of the UBC Nursing Alumni, ensuring that the wide community of those who have been shaped by the School stays engaged, supported and connected.
A nurse with a perinatal certification, Cathy has been the recipient of awards for teaching, Alumni engagement and volunteering at UBC. Cathy remains passionate about all things related to nursing students, childbearing families, UBC alumni and chocolate.
