Enjoying the Summer with Golf and Good Company

This past weekend, Kaushik, Siddh, and Ekaansh decided to make the most of a sunny day in Vancouver by heading to Stanley Park Pitch and Putt. With clear skies and perfect weather, it was the ideal time to be outside — and what better way to enjoy it than with a few hours of mini golf?

We played all 18 holes, which took us around three hours. The course, surrounded by trees and fresh air, made the experience feel relaxing and fun. Even though it’s a par-3 course, it still gave us plenty of opportunities to laugh at ourselves, cheer each other on, and talk a bit of friendly smack. Siddh showed some solid technique early on, Kaushik kept things steady, and Ekaansh came through with some surprise shots that earned a few fist bumps.

The vibe was light, the competition friendly, and the sun kept us in a great mood. Whether we were landing a decent shot or chasing a golf ball that decided to bounce into a bush, every hole had a moment worth remembering. Honestly, we didn’t even care who won — it was more about enjoying the day, catching up, and taking a break from the usual routine.

After wrapping up the game, we were definitely hungry, so we headed over to a nearby Italian place for dinner. It was the perfect way to end the day. We dug into some amazing pasta and shared a few appetizers while continuing the laughs from earlier. The food hit the spot, but more than anything, it was nice to sit back and enjoy the company.

All in all, it was a simple, laid-back day filled with sunshine, good vibes, and great food. We don’t always get the chance to slow down like this, so we’re glad we did — and we’re already looking forward to the next hangout.
