# Daniel Friedmann 

 

 

Daniel Friedmann, of Vancouver, British Columbia, is President and Chief Executive Officer of MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA), a global communications and information company providing operational solutions to commercial and government organizations worldwide. He joined MDA in 1979 and has held a number of positions in the company, including engineering, operations, sales and marketing, and Chief Operating Officer before becoming CEO in 1995. Daniel is a professional engineer and holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Physics from the University of British Columbia. He has also the author of two books on the origins debate and a Readers’ Favorite 2013 International Book Award Winner.
