Dr. Way’s research, publications, and courses challenge established narratives of the emergence of the design professions by exploring the ways that gender, class, and race were shaping forces.

Strategic Priority Areas:

UBC is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm people (Musqueam; which means 'People of the River Grass') and Syilx Okanagan Nation.
