Research focus:

Ayman Elnaggar's educational leadership activities include developing the curriculum of several design courses in the area of electrical and computer engineering such as Digital Systems Design, Embedded Systems Design, Real-Time Embedded Systems Design, Microcomputer Engineering and Electrical Circuits and Power. In order to enhance hands-on experience and design practices of students, Ayman has established solid industry-academic partnerships with leading technology providers such as Intel, Texas Instruments and Altera. These partnerships have granted access, for students, technical staff and faculty, to state-of-the-arts design and development boards, as well as modeling and simulation tools. His long-term goal is to build a unified modular design platform where engineering students add on modules to this platform as they move from year one to year four. This can be achieved thorough integration of the design components of all design courses in the engineering curriculum.
