Ensyn, a global leader in the conversion of woody biomass to renewable liquid fuels and chemicals, is executing a global expansion of production capacity and expanding its customer base. In order to execute its business plan, Ensyn emphasises strategic alliances with global leaders across the value chain. This presentation will cover Ensyn’s 30 years of operating experience in developing and producing its current product slate of renewable chemicals, heating fuels and refinery feedstock. Emphasis will be given on lessons learned along the way as well as future opportunities in BritishColumbia and other jurisdictions.
Stefan Müller, P. Eng., M. Eng., Senior Vice President Project Engineering
Mr. Müller has been employed by Ensyn since 2007, initially as SVP R&D and currently as SVP Project Engineering. In his current role, Mr. Müller is actively involved in the technical aspects of the RFO production projects Ensyn is rolling out and the RFO customer site integrations. Prior to joining Ensyn, Stefan had 11 years of experience in the chemical industry, three of which were in the syngas industry and the other eight years in the bio-products and forestry industry. Stefan has held various roles in plant operation, ranging from engineering to plant management and has also held various roles in senior management, including engineering, business development and research and development. Stefan is a chemical engineer and received his B.Eng and M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from McGill University.
